MINNIE E. BROADWATER — WESTERNPORT — Minnie Ethel Broadwater, 78, of RD 1, Westernport, Md., died Wednesday, October 27, 1982, at Frostburg Community Hospital, Frostburg, Md.

Born on February 5, 1904, in Garrett County, Md., she was a daughter of the late Harmon G. Broadwater and Harriett Catherine (Bittinger) Broadwater. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy A. Sutherland.

Ms. Broadwater was a member of the Dunkard Broadwater Chapel, Savage River.

Surviving are five brothers, Howard W. Broadwater and Grover C. Broadwater, both of LaVale; Edward C. Broadwater, of Corriganville; Herbert L. Broadwater, of Baltimore, and Robert H. Broadwater, of Westernport, and nine sisters, Della V. Beeman, of LaVale; Flossie O. Beeman, of Lonaconing; Edith C. Long, of Cumberland; Theresa P. Broadwater and Lillie M. Broadwater, both of Westernport; Nellie E. Llewellyn, of Barton; Myrtle M. Broadwater, of York, Pa., and Rosella J. Rounds and Thelma M. Bittinger, both of Grantsville.

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday from to 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the Funeral Home Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Myers officiating.

Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
