NELLIE E. LLEWELLYN — WESTERNPORT — Nellie Ellen Llewellyn, 81, of Moran Manor Nursing Home, Westernport, Md., died Saturday, June 24, 1995, at the nursing home.

Born on October 10, 1913, in Garrett County, Md., she was a daughter of the late Harmon G. Broadwater and Harriett Catherine (Bittinger) Broadwater. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey C. Llewellyn, on Aug. 31, 1979, and two sisters, Minnie Broadwater and Dorothy Sutherland.

Mrs. Llewellyn was a Jehovah's Witness.

Surviving are two sons, Sylvan M. Llewellyn and Gene E. Llewellyn, both of Barton; two daughters, Laverne C. Guinn, of Frostburg, and Juanita E. Miller, of Barton; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; one step-daughter, Virginia Duckworth, of Lonaconing; eight sisters, Della Beeman, of LaVale; Flossie Beeman, of Lonaconing; Theresa Broadwater, Lillie Broadwater and Edith Long, all of Westernport; Myrtle Broadwater, of York, Pa., and Rosella Rounds and Thelma Bittinger, both of Grantsville, and five brothers, Howard Broadwater and Grover Broadwater, of LaVale; Edward Broadwater, of Corriganville; Herbert Broadwater, of Baltimore, and Robert Broadwater, of Lonaconing.

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral and Interment services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. by John Richmond.

Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
