Gertrude Ola Hartman Lambert of Durbin, who would have been 59 October 30, died at 7:30 p.m. October 29, 1965 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, Virginia.

She was born October 30, 1906, at Franklin a daughter of the late Isaac Perry and Lucy (Vandevander) Hartman.

On November 30, 1924, she married Rennie L. Lambert who survives. Mrs. Lambert had resided in Durbin for the past 41 years and was an active member of the Church of the Brethren. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Reon J. of Charlottesville, Virginia, one daughter, Mrs. June (Ruth) Vance of Elkins, West Virginia; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One sister, Mrs. Fred (Rettie) Pennington, died February 28, 1961. Eight sisters and four brothers also survive. They are: Mrs. Bessie Lambert, Accomac, Virginia; Mrs. Byron (Fannie) Bodkin, Brandywine; Mrs. Floyd (Martha) Simmons, Piqua, Ohio; Mrs. Woodrow (Mary) Johnston, Mrs. Joseph (Vergie) Simmons, Mrs. Earl(Dora) Murphy, Mrs. Ralph (Nettie) Moyers, Mrs. Kermit (Buanna) Judy, all of Franklin; Tom and Harry, Franklin; Arthur, Keyser; and Charlie, Harrisonburg, Virginia. She is also survived by a host of friends and relatives.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2:00 o'clock from the Durbin Brethren Church. Interment was in the Arbovale Cemetery.
