She is survived by two daughters, Louise Irene Smith and Jennie Mae Wachter both at home, Harmony Grove and six sons, Pvt. Millard Richard Wachter Jr., New Guinea; PFC Frank Hill Wachter, Fort Lewis, Washington; Pvt. Thomas E. Wachter, Puerto Rico; Pvt. Phillip C. Wachter, somewhere in France; Edward and Charles at home in Harmony Grove.
Jennie is also survived by two brothers, Silas Pirson Rice and wife Lillie Mae and Eli Edward Rice and wife Anna Mae Ruth and five sisters, Annie Sophie Eyler and husband Charles Grayson, Walkersville; Rueyann May Rice Stull Pearl and husband Charles Jackson, Baltimore; Grace Elizabeth Eaton and husband Samuel Coleman, Lewistown; Lorraine Elgie "Leavie" Whipp and husband Franklin Keefer and Susie Frances Hewitt and husband Alonzo William, grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews
Jennie was predeceased by three brothers, Keefer Cornelius Rice and two that died befor maturity, James and Franklin Elmer and one sister, Rosa B. Rice.
Funeral held at M.R. Etchison Funeral Home, Frederick and internment made in Charlesville Cemetery by Etchison funeral directors.
