Millard Richard Jr. was a son of Millard Richard Sr. and Jennie Irene Rice Wachter and was the husband of Dolyne.

Millard was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army against Japan.

Millard was a plumber by trade and had worked for Alden Fisher Plumbing of Frederick and retired from Dosh's Plumbing.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Millard Richard Wachter III and wife Mary Jane one daughter, Teresa Ann Haines and two grandchildren, Richard Allan Wachter and Melissa Ann Haines.

Millard is also survived by five brothers, Frank Hill Wachter and wife Shirley Maxine; Thomas Eli Wachter; Edward Daniel Wachter all of Frederick, Charles Wachter, New Midway and Philip C. Wachter, Graceham and two sisters, Jennie Mae Dodson, Petersville and Louise Irene Chipley, Frederick and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral held at the Smith Fadeley Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Captain Earl E. Fitzgerald, Chaplain of the Salvation Army in Frederick officiating with internment made in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Hansonville by Smith Fadeley Keeney and Basford funeral directors, Frederick.
