The Eisenbachers farmed in the Whittemore and Lotts Creek areas for a time, then Roman went to meat cutting. He did custom butchering in the Armstrong and surrounding areas for 41 years. Mr. Eisenbacher died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1987 in the Fairmont Community Hospital with complications following surgery. He was 83.
He is survived by his wife, Viola and 10 children. Roman L, Evelyn, William, Joseph, Robert, Richard, Marjorie, Sylvester, Madonna, and Janice.There are 39 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Nine brothers and sisters also survive; Vincent, Joe, Fr. Linus, Lucille, Felicia, Jane, Ruth, Thecla, Flavia.
