Mrs. Cecilia C. Nelson was born September 8, 1911 to Ignaz and Thekla Simon Eisenbacher. She attended school in Wesley, Iowa and Iowa State teachers College, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Following completion of her college education, she taught in the rural school for three years in Prairie Township.

On May 29, 1939 she married Charles Nelson. The wedding took place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wesley, Iowa.
Mrs Nelson was a member of Court Fidelia, Catholic Daughters of America, Legion of Mary, St. Joseph Guild, Our Ladies Rosary Makers and Senior Citizens.

She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Jane/Gary Formanek, Pullman, WA; Mary Nelson, San Antonio, TX and Charles A Nelson, Wichita, KS; and Paul Nelson, Julian, CA. She is also survived by one grandchild and the following brothers and sisters: Roman, Linus, Vincent, Edward, Joseph Eisenbacher. Rosina/Richard Hammond; Flavia/Joe Studer; Felice/Norbert Hilbert; Thecla Strouth; Ruth/Gerard Strouth; Lucille/Clarence Nelson and Jane/Ben Faurot. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
