Joseph Charles Eisenbacher was born November 18, 1923 to Ignaz and Thekla Simon Eisenbacher. At age 5 Joe was strickened with osteomyalitis, and was handicapped the rest of his life. He received his education in the St. Joseph Parochial School and graduated from Wesley High School in 1944. Following graduation Joe worked at Al's Pool Hall in Wesley for a time. He then went into farming. Joe farmed north of Wesley until 1988 when he retired. He continued to live on the family farm.

He enjoyed playing baseball and despite his handicap, was a very strong player. He also enjoyed hunting and playing cards, but his greatest love was farming.

He is survived by 1 brother and 5 sisters; Vincent, Felice, Lucile, Thecla, Ruth, and Jane.
