Hays -- Rose C. Kryzer, 82, Hays, died Thursday, March 28, 1996, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita.

Mrs. Rose was born Rose Leiker on April 19, 1913, at Munjor.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and Altar Society Christian Mothers, and was a volunteer at the ARC Thrift Shop.

Her husband, Adolph R., died in 1989. Survivors include three daughters, Janice Arnold and Karen Schumacher, both of Hays, and Phyllis Kryzer of Wichita; four brothers, Edward S. Leiker, Henry S. Leiker and Carl S. Leiker, all of Hays, and Victor C. Leiker of Atlantic Heights, N.J.; two sisters, Cecilia Gross and Mary A. Leiker, both of Hays; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. Paulinus Karlin officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays. An Altar Society Christian Mothers rosary will be said at 4 p.m. today followed by a Daughters of Isabella rosary at 7 p.m. and a parish vigil service at 7:30 p.m. at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the dialysis facility of Hays Medical Center. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home, 20th and Pine, Hays 67601.
