Sylvia Snyder McKendrick was born at Silver Creek, Summit Co., Utah in 1869, the second daughter of George G. and Rhoda Snyder. She married Chauncey McKendrick in 1892 and they had four children, two of which grew to adulthood. Sylvia died of consumption in 1903 and is buried a very short distance away from her mother and three of her sisters in the Snyder section of the cemetery. Beside her is her husband Chauncey and two of her children who died as small children.
