Her parents divorced when she was less than two years old and Rachel lived with her mother and then eventually with her mother and stepfather, Charles Winegar.
When Rachel was young, the family moved to Alameda, Californa. She married, likely twice. First husband was a man named Kelly and her 2nd husband was named Ramsdell. She lived in California and for many years in Oregon.
No information is available about a return to Utah at any time or any contact with the Snyder family or her father, George G. Snyder.
Her mother and her step-father, had a daughter while in California and returned to Utah at about the turn of the century, settling in the Murray, Utah area. They are both buried in Murray, Utah.
