Rose grew up in Park City and Heber City, Utah and in 1904, she married Dee Workman. Dee worked in the mines in Park City and in Tooele County. Rose and Dee had two daughters, Rhoda and Sybil. Dee died of "miners lung" and consumption in 1927.
Rose was elected Park City Recorder in early 1930s. She remarried to John (Jack ) Lindsay in 1933. Jack was a widower with two of his young sons still at home and Rose helped raise the Lindsay boys to adults.
Rose, her sisters, Ruby Snyder Brown and Lillie Snyder Evans all eventually returned to Park City. They raised their children together, along with the children of their deceased sister, Sylvia Snyder McKendrick. All of these cousins were very close. The sisters mutually cared for their mother, Rhoda Orchard Snyder, until her death in 1920.
After her husband died at the young age of 42 yrs, Rose worked for a few years, but mostly helped her daughters during the years when they were raising their own families, traveling to wherever they lived around the United States. She had ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Rose died in 1970 at the age of 87 yrs. and is buried next to her first husband, Dee, her mother, Rhoda Snyder, and adjacent to two of her sisters, Sylvia McKendrick and Lillie Evans
