Rosso Call 70, of Riverdale UT died Saturday, June 4, 1988, at St Benedict's Hospital of respiratory failure.
He was born Sept 1, 1917, in Afton WY, a son of Anson Vasco and Margaret Hepworth Call. He married Erma Jean Clark on Feb 18, 1946 in Salt Lake City.
Reared and educated in Afton and moved to the Ogden area in 1951. Was an Elder in the Washington Terrace Seventh LDS Ward. He had been active in Boy Scouts serving as scoutmaster and committee member.
He was recipient of the governor's Silver Bowl award for community service in Weber County Schools. He had been a home builder and general contractor. He retired from Hill Air Force Base as a production planner.
He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army in the Philippines in General MacArthur's headquarters.
Surviving are his widow of Riverton, one son and three daughters, Jody M. Call, Ogden; Cheryl Jennings, Cherryville British Columbia Canada; Kerry Fausett, Eden; Mrs Robert (Michelle) Gatzke, Sparwood, British Columbia Canada; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild, two sisters, Lucy Nield Richland, WA; Lucy Nield, Richland WA; Mrs Herbert (Reva) Todd Sunnyvale, CA.
