Cecil Call, 72. of Afton died May 5, 1986 of a heart attack that occurred while he was driving near his home.
Funeral services were held at the Afton Second LDS Ward on May 8,. 1986. Burial was in the Afton Cemetery.
He was born Jan 19, 1914 in Afton Wyo. to Anson V. and Margaret Hepworth Call.
He attended elementary school in Afton. Despite a hearing problem that made it necessary for him to sit at the front of the class, he loved school and was a good student. He enjoyed reading throughout his life.
His mother died when he was seven. From his father and brothers he mastered carpentry and worked for many years at Aerotek making parts for planes and snowmobiles.
He loved the mountains and especially enjoyed camping in them. He was also a good fisherman.
He was an active member of the LDS Church.
He is survived by his sisters; Lucy C. Nield, Richland, Wash,; Reva Todd, Sunnyvale Calif.; brothers; Raoul Call, Seattle, Wash.; Marius Call Las Vegas, Nev and Rosso Call Ogden.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for Cecil Call of Afton will be held today, May 8, at noon at the Afton Third-Fourth LDS Ward Building. The family will meet with friends today from 11 a.m. until service time.
Call died Monday night of an apparent heart attack.
