Dr. Fred W. Call, 63, Idaho Falls Chiropractor and first president of the Idaho Falls Lion's Club and native of Afton died Monday in an Idaho Falls hospital of a heart ailment.
He had served for years on the Idaho State Board of Examiners for Chiropractors.
Dr. Call had been a high councilman in the South Idaho Falls Stake, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints and superintendent of the Idaho Falls Stake Mutual Improvement Assn. He had held other church offices.
He was born Jan 27, 1894 at Afton Wyo., son of Anson v. and Lucy King Call. He married Alice Bagley Aug 31, 1916 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died in Idaho Falls. Dr Call married Zenna Wilson Aug 5, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Between 1919 and 1926 he practiced at Yakima, Wash., coming to Idaho Falls in 1927.
Surviving are his widow, a son and daughter, F.William Call Jr., and Mrs D. Richard Paull, Idaho Falls, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the LDS Fifth Ward chapel Idaho Falls. Burial was at Afton under the direction of the Wood Mortuary, Idaho Falls.
