Tehama Pioneer, Dies In Redding

Warren David Markham, 79 pioneer of western Tehama County, died this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. R. Harmon of Redding. He had been in poor health for some time. He was a retired lumber and box factory worker.

Markham was born April 14, 1864 in San Jose. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Nellie Markham, who because of her health is living with a son in Sacramento; three daughters, Mrs. A. S. Osborn of Arcata; Mrs. J. R. Harmon of Redding and Mrs. A. W. Pierson of Redding; three sons, R. O. Markham of Vallejo; S. M. Markham of Pasadena and W. C. Markham (Warren Clay Markham); of Sacramento; 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Fickert Chapel at Red Bluff. Interment will be in the family plot in Oak Hill Cemetery, Red Bluff.
