MRS. MITCHELL, 74, PASSES AT ORLAND

Mrs. Eleanor Mitchell, mother of Arthur M. Mitchell of this city, passed away at her home in Orland at 8 o'clock this morning. She had been ill for about three months.

Mrs. Mitchell was born near Sacramento and would have been 74 years of age next June. She was a member of the Christian church and is survived by four children, Arthur M. Mitchell of Red Bluff; Maude Osborn of Berkeley; Jesse Monroe of Orland and David E. Mitchell of Salinas; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Rice of Paskenta; Mrs. Sadie Miller of Chico and Mrs. Minnie Duncan of Paskenta and one brother, Warren Markham of Stockton; besides several grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at the home at Orland at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 16, and interment will be at Paskenta at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon.
