She married her sweetheart Rulon VanNoy Osmond on September 29, 1937, in the Logan LDS Temple.
Norma and Rulon had five children; Rulon Robert (LuGene), Alonzo Richard (Helen), Vern Jay (Linda), Darlene (Les) Marsh, and Blaine Lee (Dana). They had 25 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Norma loved her family and always looked forward to the letters, pictures, phone calls and visits that kept her close to them. Church and community service were important to her. She served as a full-time missionary in the Northwestern States Mission from 1935 to 1937 and then in 1980 she and Rulon served a mission together at the Hawaiian Temple visitors center. She served in the Relief Society and Primary in many capacities throughout her life, and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Norma was a hard and cheerful worker. Whether baking bread, doing needlework, or quilting, her hands were never idle. Her family and friends cherish the beautiful things she made, and the legacy of industry that she left them.
Norma is survived by her five children; twenty-five grandchildren; her great and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Karlee; and two brothers, AR Jr. (Ruth) and LD. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and ten brothers and sisters.
