Funeral services for L.D. Kennington were held August 25, 2003 at 12 noon at the Fairview/Osmond LDS Chapel.
A viewing was held Sunday, August 24, from 7-9 at the Schwab Mortuary and from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services.

L.D. Kennington passed away on Thursday, Aug 21 at his home on Bittercreek. He was diagnosed with cancer in late May. L.D.'s daughter, Shirley, stayed with him and cared for him this summer. L.D. was a much loved member of the community and will be greatly missed.
The funeral was held on Monday, Aug 25 at the Fairview LDS Church. L.D.'s daughters: Donna Fagergren from St. George and Marily Rainey from Gilbert Ariz.; joined their sister and brother, Shirley Putman and Stephen Kennington who live here.
A large number of grandchildren, family members and friends attended the funeral. The burial took place in the Fariview Cemetery.
