He said Bob filled a wonderful mission and had a very near perfect understanding of the principles of the gospel. There is an influence that governs these seeming accidents. The Lord brings about these conditions. Spirits like Bob's will be ushered into the Paradise of God.

Elder Dewey Handerson who labored in the same mission field as Elder Kennington, was the next speaker. He spoke of the pre-existence, and said there was no doubt in his mind but what men are taken from this life to perform a greater work, undoubtedly to gather genealogy. Bob's experience in the mission field will prepare him for his work he is now called to do. We should not worry about those who have gone on but prepare ourselves to be ready to meet them.

Sedney Bagley felt it an honor that Mr and Mrs Kennington thought enough of him to ask him to speak. bob was a leader for the boys. At the hospital even though he was suffering he asked the Doctors to take time for the elders to administer to him before the operation. Are we all doing all we can to help each other overcome our weakness. He said if there is any one here who has not helped Bob overcome his weakness, this must be an hour of bitter shame for them.
Clarence Erickson spoke of Bob's excellent management on the farm of his superior ability to make friends. He had worked up forty dollars worth of credit on the new church.
Bishop Brown said "This makes nine good men in the last two years who have been called from our ward." He spoke of Bob's sister Norma and his brother-in-law, LaVere Johsn who are laboring in the mission field. He congratulated Brother and Sister Kennington for the splendid work they had accomplished in rearing their fine family. Bob was always one of the first
