Barbara A was born to Henry and Margaret Keiser Eckler of Pine Grove, Schuylkill Co. PA on September 18, 1827 - was Baptized on March 9, 1828 - have Church record. One of fifteen Children-twelve survived. Namely: Elisabeth, Hannah Anna (Johannes Spancake), Margaretha, John Franklin (Elizabeth Ney), Catherine "Kitty" (Casper Kissawetter), Maria Anna (Benjamin Frederick), Mary Margaret "Polly" (Valentine Ferst), George Washington (Catherine McAllister), Lydia Anna (Son by Theodore Newcomer)(Adam Miller), Ellen Elmira "Eliza" (Hiram Miller), Elizabeth "Eliza" Anna (John Howard Miller), Susannah (Died at Three Years of Age), Henry Eckler Jr - Died at 20 yrs of age of Typhoid Fever during the Civil War. Four of her siblings and their spouses located to Northern Indiana.

Barbara was married to Widower John Henry Null on August 12, 1851, in Pine Grove, Schuylkill Co. PA.
They moved to Ohio, New Jersey, Iowa, South Bend, IN. then to Lafayette, IN. They became the parents of two daughters - Clara Mae Null (George E Baker) and Orlena Virginia Null (George Marcus Foresman). John Null had children by a first wife - Mary Sarah Sterling - Namely: Franklin Michael (Emily Strobel), Nathaniel Henry (Anna Maria Beachler), Mary, Sarah (Dayton Langsdon), William A. and John Henry Jr (1845). Someone began spelling the name as NOLL in Lafayette - but the preferred family spelling is NULL. Do not find death record for John Null Sr. Barbara Ann Eckler was listed as Noll on Death Certificate.
