Hazel Howe was the daughter of James Issac and Ada (Henry) Howe. Hazel had no middle name. She had four brothers and five sisters with she being the first born. Their names were Arthur, Henry, Harold and Harry, Beatrice, Fern, Gladys, Myrtle and Margaret. She married John Albert Denby on February 15, 1911 in Lansing, Ingham County, MI. Together they had eight children, Lucille Emily, Donald Albert, Laura Hazel, Irene Ada, Douglas James, John Richard, Kenneth Edward and Wayne Frederick Denby. After the death of John Albert on March 28, 1948, she married again to Henry Lewis Sheader on September 29, 1952 in Henry County, Ohio. His wife had also previously passed away. Hazel passed away at the age of 96 and is buried next to John Albert Denby.
