Gladys May Howe was the daughter of James Issac and Ada (Henry) Howe. She married Clarence Laver Hinton. Gladys was the mother of Richard Dale Howe, JoAnn Lucille Howe, and Raymond "Pete" Howe. Gladys Hinton died at the age of 56 en route to a Lansing Hospital due to a heart attack. She resided on Hogsback Road, Holt prior to being an Eaton Rapids resident. Surviving are her husband, Clarence; a son, Raymond at home; three brothers, Harold and Harry Howe of Eaton Rapids and Henry Howe of Lansing; five sisters, Mrs. Hazel Sheader, Mrs. Fern Bellinger and Mrs. Beatrice Brandt of Eaton Rapids, Mrs. Myrtle Hilliard of Dimondale, and Mrs. Margart Porter of Warren. Funeral arrangements were made by Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
