He worked in the finishing Department at Wyeth Lab in Mason, MI. he married Edna Annette Ridenour on October 3, 1953 in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan. They had a son and daughter. Wayne died at a local hospital at the age of 49. He had been a resident of Holt for 20 years coming from Mason.

Note: His wife, Edna Annette (Ridenour) Denby would be 96 in 2020. Not known at this time as to whether she is still living.
