Beatrice Howe was the daughter of James Issac and Ada (Henry) Howe. She married Walter A. McKay. Her second husband was Fred Brandt. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1962. Beatrice Brandt, 331 W. Knight St., Eaton Rapids, died Saturday morning, July 24 at the age of 77 at Ingham Medical Hospital where she had been a patient for one week. She worked for many years in Detroit as a switchboard operator for Paramount Engineering. After retiring, she returned to Eaton Rapids where she has lived since 1968. Surviving are 3 brothers, Harry and Harold Howe of Eaton Rapids, Henry Howe of Florida; 3 sisters, Mrs. Hazel Sheader and Mrs. Margaret Porter of Eaton Rapids and Mrs. Myrtle Hilliard of Dimondale; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services wer held Monday, July 26 at 1:00 P.M. at Rosehill Cemetery with nephews George and William Howe officiating.
