Peter D. Benham, 82, of Route 1, Vine Grove, died September 11, 1984 at his residence.

Born July 26, 1902, he was the son of George Presley Benham and Alice (Wardrip) Benham.

Mr. Benham was preceded in death by two children, Mrs. Lena Mae Butler and Peter D. Benham. He was a member of Robinson Lodge No. 266 F. & A.M. which will hold Masonic services at &:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Maggie (Harrington) Benham; seven children, Mrs. J.R. (Maggie) Thomas, Chester L. Benham, Dennie Phillip Benham all of Route 1, Vine Grove; Mrs. Dorothy Landers, Apache Junction, Arizonia; William earl Benham, Rt. 1 Vine Grove; Mrs. Mary Parrish, Lexington and Mrs. Lois (Penny) Raver, Ft. Wayne, Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. roxie Brown and Mrs. Ethel Harrington, both of Brandenburg; 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Waddle officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Church Cemetery.
