William Earl "Mouse" Benham, age 76, formerly of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born on January 20, 1942 in Meade County, Kentucky.

Mouse loved singing and playing guitar. In his most recent years, he thoroughly enjoyed walking to and watching the river, as well as birdwatching. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.

Mouse was preceded in death by his parents, Peter D. and Maggie Bernice Harrington Benham; two sisters, Lena May Butler and Maggie Louise Thomas; and three brothers, Chester, Dennie and Peter D. Benham.

He is survived by two sons, Kelly (Samantha) Benham, Brandenburg, KY, Troy (Maria) Benham, Louisville, KY; his sons' mother, Linda Joyce Murphy; two grandsons; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary (Max) Parrish, Dorothy Landers, both of Lexington, KY, Lois Lane Raveer, Ft. Wayne, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 16, 2018, with Rev. Paul Frederick officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Sunday. .
