Lucy Bell Bryant, 94, of Witter, AR, died January 18, 2001, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. She was born November 17, 1906, at Boston, AR, the daughter of Fred and Mary Johnson Keck. She was a homemaker and attended the Venus Community Church. She was the widow of Lonnie Edward Bryant, who preceded her in death on February 12, 1961, and of Glenn Hubert McFee who preceded her in death on December 11, 1978. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Delmer Bryant and Boyd Bryant, three grandsons, Gerald Bryant, Steven Bryant and Perry Carter and by two granddaughters, Judy Bryant and Paula Carter.

Survivors include: five sons, Otto Bryant, Porter Bryant and Jerry Bryant, all of Witter, AR, Eddie Bryant of Kingston, AR and Garland Bryant of Clifty, AR; four daughters, Mrs. Gertie Burnett of Alabam, AR, Mrs. Vada Acrey of Pueblo, Colorado, Mrs. Ann Christian of Harrison, AR and Mrs. Jean Tripp of Springdale, AR; thirty-one grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2001, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Hepler and Elder Layton Porter officiating. Interment was in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers were grandsons.
