Leonard Joseph Keck, 69, of Boston, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Madison County Hospital. Born March 31, 1901 in Madison County, he was the son of Fred and Mary Johnson Keck.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Hasty Keck of the home; his father, Fred Keck of Route 5, Huntsville; five sons, Clarence of Tulsa, Dorsey, Floyd and Lloyd, all of Boston and Clyde of Huntsville; two sisters, Lucy Bryant of Boston and Kathryn Jones of Mountainburg; nineteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) Oct. 29, at 2:00 p.m. at the Venus Church with Floyd Spurlock officiating. Burial will be in the Venus cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Everett Maggard, Gussie Swearengin, Theodore Johnson, Hurshel Johnson, Eugene Bryant and Vernon Middleton.
