Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Keck, 84, of Huntsville died Sunday, August 17, in the Madison County Hospital. She was born February 4, 1885 in Madison County.

Survivors are the husband, Fred Keck, of the home; one son, Leonard Keck of Boston; two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Bryant of Boston and Mrs. Kathryn Jones of Fort Smith; three brothers, Walter and Roscoe Johnson, both of Pettigrew, & Cyrus Johnson of Boston; one sister, Mrs. Lula Davis of Houston, Texas; 23 grandchildren; fifty six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the Venus Church with Rev. Charles Russell and Rev. Floyd Spurlock officiating. Burial was in the Venus Cemetery under direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Otto and Eugene Bryant, Russell and Freddie Pharris, Clyde and Dorsey Keck.
