Delmer Lloyd Bryant, 71, of 22275 Butler Ford Road, Springdale, died February 27, 2000 at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born April 9, 1928 at Venus, Arkansas, the son of Lonnie Edward and Lucy Keck Bryant. He was a retired production manager for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Muskogee, Oklahoma and had previously worked at Coca-Cola and the 7-Up Bottling Company in Pueblo, Colorado. He attended the Victory Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Boyd Bryant.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Gussie M. Watson Bryant of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Linda Bryant and Allen and Edith Bryant, all of Springdale; his mother, Mrs. Lucy Bryant of Huntsville; five brothers, Otto Bryant, Porter Bryant and Jerry Bryant, all of Witter; Eddie Bryant of Kingston and Garland Bryant of Clifty; four sisters, Mrs. Gertie Burnett of Old Alabam, Mrs. Vada Acrey of Pueblo, Colorado, Mrs. Ann Christian of Batavia, Arkansas and Mrs. Jean Tripp of Springdale; six grandchildren and one grandson-in-law, Michelle and Brian Wolfe, Jennifer Bryant, Lindy Bryant, Eric Bryant, Sunny Bryant and Sam Bryant, all of Springdale; and three great-grandchildren, Bethany Wolfe, Shelby Wolfe and Forrest Bryant, all of Springdale.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Loy Counts officiating. Interment will be in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers will be Lonny Hawkins, Russ Hawkins, Chance Bryant, James Burnett, Jim Mitchell, Eric Bryant, Andy Marrs, Eric Christian, Brian Wolfe and Otto Bryant.
