Fred Keck, 94, of Boston, Arkansas, died Tuesday, September 12, at his home. He was born August 8, 1878 in Madison County Arkansas, the son of Jess and Carmelia Driver Keck. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist. His wife, Mary Elizabeth Johnson Keck, preceded him in death August 17, 1969.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lucy McFee of Boston, and Mrs. Kathryn Jones, Mountainburg, Arkansas, and 23 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 16 2:00 p.m. in the Bruce Brashears Chapel, with the Reverends Floyd Spurlock, Carl Nelson and Harrison Collins officiating. Music was furnished by the New Home Quartet.

Interment was in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of the Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Jerry and Eugene Bryant, Lloyd and Dorsey Keck, Russell and Freddie Pharris.
