Denver -- Felix J. Staab, 81, of Denver, died Friday, Nov. 10, 1989, at the St. Paul Nursing Home, Denver.

Mr. Staab was born May 9, 1908, in Catherine. He was an oil field pumper. He was formerly a member of the St. Catherine Catholic Church, Catherine.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine of Denver; a son, Bill of Golden, Colo.; a daughter, Anita Wilhite of Charleston, S.C.; three brothers, Clarence of Annapolis, Md., and Eddie and James, both of Hays; five sisters, Minnie Lang and Lydia Yunker, both of Hays, Irene Menter and Charlotte Ludes, both of Salina, and Alice Oakes of Wichita; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Catherine Catholic Church, Rev. Michael Suchnicki officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hays Memorial Chapel, Hays. A parish wake service will be at 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
