Mrs. Staab was born Josephine Sander on Sept. 25, 1909, in Walker. She was a head seamstress at the May Co.
Her husband, Felix J., died in 1930 (actually year married).
Survivors include a son, William "Bill" (Lynda), of Golden, Colo.; a daughter, Anita (John) Wilhite, of Bonneau, S.C.; five grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Catherine. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A parish vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine, Hays 67601.
Memorials may be made to the church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
