Mrs. Ludes was born Charlotte A. Staab on Nov. 26, 1922, in Catherine.
She was a homemaker and cosmetologist for the Royal Beauty Shop, Salina, and was a food-service manager for the Salina School District.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E., on March 24, 2003.
Survivors include a son, Thomas C. of Wichita; three daughters, Vicki Fiebach and Laura Benson, both of Wichita, and Susan Rose of Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters, Lydia Yunker of Hays and Alice Oaks of Wichita; four grandsons, David Benson of South Pole, Antarctica, Gary Fiebach and Mark Fiebach, both of Wichita, and Jonathan Benson of Bradenton, Fla.; two granddaughters, Angela Centeno of Chicago and Julie Benson of Tampa, Fla; and a great-grandson, Max Fiebach of Wichita.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
