Hays -- Minnie Lang, 92, died Jan. 25 at her home in Hays. She was born May 25, 1910, at Catherine, the daughter of Carl. W. and Anna Walters Staab.

She married Victor Lang Sr. on May 27, 1929 in Catherine. He died Nov. 28, 1997.

Mrs. Lang was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include one son, Vic Lang of Hays; two daughters, Norma Buckler of Springfield, Mo., and Cindy Stillwagoner of Great Bend; three sisters, Lydia Yunker of Hays, Charlotte Ludes of Salina and Alice Oaks of Wichita; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Jack Staab, Felix Staab, James Staab, Robert Staab, Eddie Staab and Elmer Staab; one infant brother, Donald Staab; and one sister, Irene Minter.

Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 6 tonight followed by a parish vigil service at 6:30 tonight at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Kevin Weber officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 today and from 9:30 a.m. until service time, all at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Masses in care of the funeral home.
