Irene Marie Minter, 75, 532 W. Beloit, died Saturday, Feb. 2,1991, at Asbury-Salina Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Minter was born Irene Marie Staab on Jan. 23, 1916, at Catherine.

She was owner of the Royal Beauty Salon, Salina, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and was past president of the Salina Business Women's Association.

Survivors include her husband, Gail F. of the home; two brothers, Jim Staab and Eddie Staab, both of Hays; four sisters, Minnie Lang and Lydia Yunker, both of Hays, Charlotte Ludes of Salina and Alice Oaks of Wichita.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Catherine, the Rev. Michael Suchnicki officiating. Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery. A parish vigil will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hays Memorial Chapel, Hays. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
