Anita Josephine Staab Wilhite, 87, of Bonneau, SC, died Saturday evening at her residence.
Anita Josephine Staab Wilhite, 87, of Bonneau Beach, SC, died Saturday evening at her residence.

Her Memorial Mass will be 11:00 AM Saturday morning, May 25, 2019, in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Women's Guild at Our Lady of Peace, c/o St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 1404 Old Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.

Mrs. Wilhite was born January 31, 1932, in Ellis, KS, a daughter of Felix Joseph Staab and Josephine Sanders Staab.

She was a member of Our Lady of Peace where she was also a member of the Women's Guild. Mrs. Wilhite was also a member of the Bonneau Beach Civic Club and the Bonneau Beach Civic Line Dancers. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, and also playing Bunco with her group of friends.

Surviving are, her husband of 65 years, John Parker Wilhite; three sons, Chris Wilhite and his wife, Debbie, of Mt. Pleasant, Scott Wilhite and his wife, Ana Joy, of Bonneau Beach, and Bryan Wilhite and his wife, Carol, of Awendaw; a brother, William "Bill" Staab of Denver, CO; seven grandchildren, Cristen (James) Hansford, Rhett Wilhite, Fletcher Sawyer, Ryan (Samantha) Wilhite, Kyle (Chelsea) Wilhite, Tyler Wilhite, and Angela Nicole Wilhite; and four great grandchildren, Ella Grace Hansford, Holden Hansford, Casen Wilhite, and Brynn Wilhite.
