Justin McCarthy, who has been in failing health for several years, passed away at 11:55 Saturday night at his home here. For many years Justin was a familiar figure on the streets of Tilden where he had lived for thiry-three years. His friends have missed his cordial greeting for the past three or four years since he had been confined to his home. His natural wit and quaint philsosphy were always refreshing. His friends always knew when some witicism was to be expected by the twinkle in his eye. Funeral rites were held in Our Lady of Mt. Interment was made in St. Patrick's cemetery at Deloit, southwest of Clearwater, where his father and mother were buried years ago.
