Mrs. Elizabeth McCarthy, who died in Norfolk last week, aged 82 years, was formerly an old and highly respected citizen of this section, her husband having preceded her to the grave several years ago. Her remains were brought to Ewing Saturday and deposited in the Ewing cemetery.
Mrs. Elizabeth McCarthy died at her home at 500 South Fourth Street Friday morning at 1 o'clock. Old age was the cause of her death. The body was taken to Ewing for burial where services were held from the Catholic church at 8 o'clock this morning.
