Justin C. McCarthy, 73, 727 W. 17th st., died this morning at the local hospital.
Services wiil be at 11a.m. Friday at St. Patirick's Catholic Church.
McCarthy, a retired telegraph operator, was born Dec.20, 1900, at Ewing and had lived in Fremont 40 years. He married Marie Jensen Sept, 29, 1922 at Creighton. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his widow; daughters, Mrs. Tom (Helen) Ronin and Mrs. Robert (Elaine) Haxby, both of Fremont; son, Gerald J., Fremont; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Rudy (Margaret) Funk, Clearwater; Mrs. Mark (Sarah) LaVelle, Worthington, Minn., Mrs. Peter ( Elizabeth) Velder, Clarks; Mrs. Wilbur ( Ann) James, Norfolk; Mrs. Alva ( Lucy) O'Brien, Stanton; Mrs. Lyle (Theresa) Scheer, Norfolk; brother, John, Norfolk.
Rosary is 8 p.m. at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established for St. Patrick's Church.
Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery.
