Alma Patterson Kern

Alma was born on March 10, 1894. She was the second child born to Will and Roxie Patterson.

At the age of 16, Alma married Branch Kern on December 9, 1910.

Branch was born on February 9, 1893, and passed away on July 28, July 1975.

Alma and Branch were the parents of 18 children. This includes a set of twin boys that died at birth on July 13, 1935. The other 16 children include Willie D. Clark, Lillian Brantley, Allie Kern, Columbus Elvige Kern, Otis Kern, Blanch Kern, Alma Lenore Tucker, Clara Stribling, Mable Dodd, Edna Harmon, Finerest Kern, Ernest Kern, Essie Dell Winters, Canary McMillion, Lee Flora Mills, and Velma Winters.

She passed away on 31 July 1961.

Four of the Kern children, Willie D Kern Clark, Clara Kern Stribling, Columbus Elvige Kern, and Velma Kern Wilson Winters are buried along with Branch Kern in the Antioch Cemetery in Center, Attala, Mississippi
