Mr. Adams was born April 26, 1883, in New Germantown, Perry County, a son of the late Wilson D. and Mary Kennedy Adams. He attended the Community Baptist Church, and served two terms on Carlisle Borough Council. He was married to the late Ella C. Lay Adams.
He is survived by two sons: W. Ritter, 155 B St., and Robert A., 308 Glendale St.; four daughters, Mrs. Hyman Goldstein, 768 W. South St.; Mrs. Clayton H. Zeigler, 544 Wilson St., Mrs. Roy E. Williams, Jr., 525 S. Hanover St.; Mrs. Harry L. Lindsay, Jr., 3885 Dawn Mar St., Harrisburg; three brothers, Arthur E., 441 N. College; Robert B., 45 E. North St., and Kenneth M., 804 Gobin Drive; one sister, Mrs. Mary McCord, 130 S. Pitt St., 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the G. Book Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Road at Belvedere Street. The Rev. Harry L. Lindsay, Jr., pastor, Community Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
