Arthur Emerson Adams, 88, 441 North College St., died Monday at Forest Park Nursing Home, Walnut Bottom Road.
A life-long resident of Carlisle, he was formerly employed by the Adams Outdoor Advertising Agency, C. H. Masland and Sons and Todd Manufacturing Co.
He was a member of the Carlisle Lodge No. 91, IOOF and the Carlisle Encampment No. 183.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Christine Stover Adams; two brothers, Robert B., 45 E. North St., and Kenneth M., 804 Gobin Drive; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., with the Rev. Harry L. Lindsay Jr., pastor of the Community Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. Friends will call at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
