Robert B. Adams, 92, Sarah Todd Memorial Home, 1000 W. South St., formerly of 45 E. North St., Carlisle, died Sunday in the home.
He was born in Perry County and was the son of the late Wilson D. and Mary Belle Kennedy Adams and the widower of Mary Miller Adams.
He was the former deputy sheriff. He was a veteran of the Marines in World War I having served in France. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Lions Club, 100F, St. John's Lodge 260 F&AM, Fraternal Order of Police, Fraternal Order of Eagles, past commander of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday one hour prior to the service.
