Beatrice M. Williams, 88, of Carlisle, died Tuesday October 29, 2013.
She was born to the late Thomas and Ella Adams, January 8, 1925 in Carlisle, PA. Beatrice married the late Roy Edward Williams, Jr. in 1944 in Lubbock, TX before relocating to Carlisle.
Beatrice was a member of the Carlisle Area Healthcare Auxiliary, Carlisle Country Club, Cumberland County Historical Society and The Bosler Library. She was a former member of both the Carlisle Civic Club and a Trustee of the Carlisle Y.W.C.A. where she received the Ruth K. George award in 2009.
One sister, Jean Zeigler of Carlisle, survives Beatrice. Two daughters: Patricia Boldosser and husband Ray of Carlisle and Sylvia Dallas and husband John Oliver of Sewickley, PA. She also is survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Drive, Carlisle, PA 17013 or YWCA of Carlisle, 301 G Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
Services will be held at the Second Presbyterian Church in Carlisle at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 2, 2013 with the Reverend Jeffrey W. Gibelius and Reverend Jennifer J, McKenna officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 219 N. Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
