Anna was the daughter of C. Gottlieb H. Klett and Pauline Schlenker. She married Michael A. Patete on 22 Sep. 1920 in Elizabeth, Union Co., NJ.

ANNA E. KLETT PATETE, 86, of Edison died Friday.

She was president of the Rosary Society of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Elizabeth. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Bayley Court 58, Elizabeth. She had been president of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 1862, Elizabeth, and was national soloist for the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.

Surviving are two sons, the Rev. Michael Patete of Ho-Ho-Kus and Vincent of Merritt Island, Fla.; three daughters, Gertrude Patete of Edison, Joan Reinmiller of Benton, Ark., and Dolores Corsentino of Hazlet; two brothers, Henry Klett of Clark and Albert Klett of Linden; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Michael A., is deceased.

Mass will be said Wednesday at 10 a.m. a t St. Mary's Church, with burial in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
