Frank Klett, At 84; GAF Carpenter

LINDEN – Frank A. Klett, 84, of 326 W. Curtis St., died Saturday at home after a long illness.

Born in Elizabeth, Mr. Klett lived in Linden 47 years.

He retired in 1954 after 22 years as a carpenter with the GAF Corp.

Mr. Klett served in France with [the] Army during World War I.

He was a member of the Linden Golden Age Club and the GAF Old Timers Club and a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Nadaskay Klett; three sons, Frank A. Jr. of Clark, Robert of Branchburg and Charles of Linden; four daughters, Sister Evelyn Francis O.P. of Linden, Mrs. Julia Spadora of Colonia, Mrs. Catherine Reichers of Clark and Mrs. Doris Handschuh of Linden; three brothers, Henry of Clark and William and Albert, both of Linden; a sister, Mrs. Anna Patete of Forked River; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been completed by the Werson Funeral Home, 635 N. Wood Ave.
