Albert A. Klett, American Cyanamid retiree

LINDEN - Services will be held Tuesday for Albert A. Klett, who died Saturday at home after a brief illness.

Born in Elizabeth, he lived in Linden since 1944.

Mr. Klett was employed as a carpenter by the American Cyanamid Co., Linden, 42 years, retiring in 1967.

He was a member of the Elizabeth Braves baseball team.

Mr. Klett was also a member of the Pioneer Club of Elizabeth.

A daughter, Mrs. Alice Shugard, died in 1979.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen Crowle [sic] Klett; two sons, Albert A. of Sparta and Richard W. of Linden; three daughters, Ms. Norma H. Morrison of East Brunswick, Mrs. Laura Sandhorst of Rahway and Mrs. Carol Riley of Cranford; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are by the Werson Funeral Home, 635 N. Wood Ave.
