VICTIM OF FOOTBALL.
YOUNG KLETT WAS INJURED A WEEK AGO.
DIED IN ELIZABETH GENERAL HOSPITAL YESTERDAY.

His Association Resolved to Disband Football Team.

Rudolph Klett, who died in the Elizabeth General Hospital on Tuesday, met his death as the result of a football accident.

Rudolph was the 19-year old son of Gottlieb and Pauline Klett, of 411 South Park street. He was an athlete, and played with several football and baseball teams. He was a member of the Xavier Athletic Club of this city, and the accident which resulted in his death happened on Sunday of last week in a game with the Columbia Athletic Club at Newark.

The young man played right tackle on his [???], and he was injured in a [???] play in the second half of the game. He was carried from the field in an unconscious condition, but revived later. The day following he suffered a relapse, and his condition became serious. He was taken to the Elizabeth General Hospital, where he died on Tuesday.

On account of his death the club met and decided to disband the football team.
